Description |
Hi We are using QuickFix/J to connect to ICE Exchange to poll our exchange trades. ICE exchange has notified us they would be discontinuing the support of SSL protocol & would be migrating to TLS. Since we are using QuickFix/J API from our code, we are unsure about the impact we would be going to face. So we would like your help to confirm if QuickFix/J supports TLS, and the API is not tightly coupled to network protocols. Kindly help us clarify., Thanks in advance Thanks & Regards |

As far as I'm aware of there is not tightly coupled to "encryption algorithms" (network protocol is still TCP which is what QFJ is using), I believe it tries to negotiate the encryption and agree on one if supported by the JDK But don't trust my word for it, you should test it, to whomever you are connecting should provide you with a test environment with the new SSL encryption? Hope that helps, Guido. |
